Meditation for Weight loss
Three days ago I started a 21 day weight loss meditation program with The Gabriel Method. What I really love about this program is the positive affirmations and the change begins as an inner change. A deeper change then what is seen on the outside. When we change what we think and how we see ourselves and the world around us, that is when we will really change. A lot of our perceptions were formed by the time we were 3 yrs old! I can’t even imagine what I thought of the world back then. I know I have grown and my world has grown! But those deep inner seeds were planted and formed using limited knowledge of the world.
Moving past those old beliefs and views helps us to grow and release those ideas and situations that no longer serve us. I am ready to let go of the things that aren’t serving me. These ideas were great for a 3 yr old but not for a grown woman 😉 Its easy to loose yourself in food, I do it whenever I am stressed, upset or worried. There is a better way to deal with these emotions and I am hoping this 21 day meditation will help me to get to the underlining reasons I use food to deal with my problems. And find a healthy relationship with food.
